The menstrual cycle involves a lot of hormones. Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA. All of them are directly connected with how horny we feel during the month.
How does your libido change during the month?

Day 17 to 28: Around day 17, your libido disappears. This is because the estrogen starts to decrease.
Around day 23, PMS makes an appearance and around day 28, your period arrives again.
Birth control pill: If you use birth control pills, your menstrual cycle works a little differently. The pill creates a fake cycle and your hormones stay pretty much the same all month. This is what you should know:
- Not entirely horny: You won’t get extremely horny, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be horny, it’s just different.
- Your hormones don’t go crazy: Don’t worry, everything works without ups and downs.
- Your body can change a little: Depending what’s in your pills, your skin, your mood, and your weight can change.
