Monthly cycle and horniness?

Saba® makes you feel #CómodaContigo.

Every month we have an army of hormones that make a lot of changes in our body. We get cramps, cravings and mood swings. They even make us feel super horny some days of the monthđŸ”¥. The real question is, why does this happen?

This is what we know.

The menstrual cycle involves a lot of hormones. Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA. All of them are directly connected with how horny we feel during the month.

How does your libido change during the month?

Day 1 to 11: The day that your period starts, is the same day that your sexual hormones start working. These hormones also help with the PMS symptoms. During these days the hormones are focused on building the lining of the uterus.

Day 12 to 16: Horny is the only word in your vocabulary. Your body wants a baby and it’s willing to do anything for it. This is because you’re ovulating and your body is ready to get pregnant.

Day 17 to 28: Around day 17, your libido disappears. This is because the estrogen starts to decrease.

Around day 23, PMS makes an appearance and around day 28, your period arrives again.

Birth control pill: If you use birth control pills, your menstrual cycle works a little differently. The pill creates a fake cycle and your hormones stay pretty much the same all month. This is what you should know:

  • Not entirely horny: You won’t get extremely horny, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be horny, it’s just different.
  • Your hormones don’t go crazy: Don’t worry, everything works without ups and downs.

  • Your body can change a little: Depending what’s in your pills, your skin, your mood, and your weight can change.

Remember to ask your doctor what’s the best birth control for you.
